Four studies, told straight.

What we were handed, what we built, and where it landed. Where a number appears, the client approved it; where one doesn't, ask us for a reference call instead.

CCA — one member platform instead of three

the challenge

The Chiropractic Association of Canada served 7,200+ members through three separate portals — three logins, three data sets, three renewal paths. Staff reconciled member records by hand, and renewals leaked at every seam.

where it landed

Three portals became one. Members get a single login, staff get a single member record. Shipped in 2025.

what we built

  • Join, renew, and rejoin on Salesforce NPSP
  • Dues and event registration on the same platform
  • Member communications rebuilt as Marketing Cloud journeys
  • Moneris wired into join and renewal payment flows
  • Member learning on Thinkific, integrated across WordPress and Salesforce

Shopify Plus · DTC

DTC storefronts, in production

the challenge

Growing DTC brands hit the same wall: a theme full of app leftovers, integrations nobody documented, and a backlog that outruns the team. The work is rarely one big project — it's sustained, specific development.

where it landed

We don't publish per-client numbers without permission. Several of these are long-running relationships — ask for a reference call and hear it from them.

what we built

  • Storefront builds and rebuilds for brands including Step One Foods, Florence Marine X, Simple Shoes, CBD Living, and Arteza
  • Theme and section work on Online Store 2.0
  • App integrations and checkout work
  • Ongoing monthly development and support

Glow Coach and Wishpad — two Shop Minis, shipped

the challenge

Shop Minis were a new surface with thin documentation and no settled patterns. We wanted first-hand answers before advising clients: what does it actually take to design, ship, and operate one?

where it landed

Both are live and we run them ourselves. The honest lesson: distribution inside the Shop app is earned, not automatic — and we now advise from experience rather than documentation.

what we built

  • Glow Coach — an AI skincare companion, reached #1 in Beauty in the Shop app
  • Wishpad — a gift-finding Mini, live in the Shop app
  • Design, development, and day-to-day operation in-house

Rescue work: hacked sites and suspended feeds

the challenge

A pattern rather than a single client: a WordPress site gets hacked through an abandoned plugin, or a Merchant Center account is suspended for misrepresentation — and revenue stops while the owner gets quoted a rebuild they don't need.

where it landed

We keep these anonymous by design — nobody wants their hack publicized. Most are short, fixed-scope engagements: diagnose, fix, harden, hand back.

what we built

  • Malware cleanup, entry-point patching, and hardening on WordPress
  • Google review requests and Search Console monitoring until warnings clear
  • Merchant Center diagnosis, feed fixes, and reinstatement requests
  • A written diagnosis before any quote

Working on something like this?

A free consultation costs nothing, and you’ll get a straight answer — including ‘you don’t need an agency for that’ when it’s true. Fixed quotes, no obligation.
